The Victorian Lions Foundation Inc. is a combined project of the 'V' Districts (covering Victoria and Southern N.S.W.)

Mission Statement.

To support the development of Health and Welfare Programmes for the benefit of the population within the five Lions Club Districts encompassing Victoria and Southern New South Wales.

The primary role of the Foundation is to create a Capital Fund to support the creation of major programmes through liaison with Lions Clubs, Charitable Trusts and Corporations.

The Foundation shall also support those Projects which come under the auspices of the Foundation from time to time.

Objectives of the Foundation.

To provide funds, property and benefits to appropriate institutions or projects as determined by two or more Lions Clubs District Conventions.
To manage such charitable projects as are funded from their own Capital Fund held by the Foundation and which operate within the Statement of Purposes of the Foundation.
To assist finacially such medical institutions and Lions sponsored projects as shall be determined by the Foundation Council.
To encourage Lions Clubs to support the Foundation with donations of 'designated' and 'undesignated' funds.
To encourage Charitable Trusts and Corporations to support the Foundation by donations or bequests.

Membership of the Foundation

All Lions Clubs in the "V" Lions Districts are Members of the Foundation.

Membership of the Foundation is also open to individuals, firms, corporate bodies and organisations as provided for in the rules of the Foundation.

Gifts to the Foundation

Cash, Bequests, Works of Art, Real Estate, Insurance, Stocks and Shares, Gifts (not being testamentary gift) of the value of $2 and upwards of money and property which was purchased by a tax payer of Australia within twelve months immediately preceding the making of the gift are allowable tax deductions.
