Lions Clubs International is the worlds largest, most active and diverse service club organisation.
In over 200 countries and geographical locations there is in excess of 1,400,000 members, both men and women, in over 40,000 Clubs. Additionally there are over 400,000 Lionesses and Leos.
The Association is thus a natural catalyst for international friendship and understanding among the peoples of the world.
Lions are well known for their outstanding activities in hearing and sight conservation, their services to the physically and mentally handicapped, the sick the aged and the needy, their concern for the environment and their social and recreational services.
